Born in Thessaloniki, I graduated from the Macedonia University of Thessaloniki in 2001 with a degree in Economical and Political Studies. Even before graduating, I got involved in the family  retail business of womenswear and I continued doing so officially for 15 years. In the meantime, I moved to Athens, where I lived for 10 years, helping expand our chain of stores in new markets. Due to the greek financial crisis, after closing the Athens stores one by one, in 2012, I moved back to my hometown, trying to salvage what was left standing. In 2016, seeing that there was no use in trying anymore, I decided to make a 180 degrees turn. I closed our last shop, while realising that this was my once in a lifetime opportunity to pursue what has always been my true passion: design and creation.

During my entrepreneurial years, I handcrafted jewellery, which I sold along our clothes in our shops. At some point, I was also admitted as a seller at the Benaki Museum shop in Athens. Aside from that, I always found myself sketching and designing whenever and however possible. At some point, I attempted to combine my passion for photography with painting through collages. In 2013, I took part in a painting/drawing competition, winning the first prize. Through that, I got to participate with my artworks in multiple team exhibitions, both in Thessaloniki and Athens, and a couple abroad (Fabriano, Italy & New Delhi, India).

So, deciding to pursue a career in the field of graphic design, seemed like a long-due natural choice. I enrolled in the graphic design graduate course of Akto and after 3 years of studies, I can officially call myself  a graphic designer. Right after graduating in 2019, I spent one year working for an advertising company, and currently I work for a german IT consultant company as a graphic/UI designer. On parallel, I am freelancing on the side, having acquired myself some precious collaborators along the way.

In my free time, I endeavour in expressing myself artistically in any way that I can, mostly through drawing, painting and photography, while also trying to marry the analogue means of expression with the digital ones.

Sooo -yeah, that was long!- now, finally doing in my life what I am supposed to be doing, I can safely say that I feel more passionate than ever about creation, self-expression & helping others with my aesthetic and my enhanced special skills.
